A short drive to the city side of the plateau finds you standing at the feet of the legendary Sphinx, which is aptly called Abu el-HOL(Father of Terror) in Arabic ,stands in the desert sands in front of the east side of the Pyramid of Chephren . Also in Giza you may visit in the South of the great Pyramid the fascinating Solar Barque Museum (optional additional cost), which may have been used to transfer the mummy of the dead pharaoh across the Nile to the Valley temple.

Lunch will be served at a typical restaurant. Your next stop is the Egyptian Museum which is one of the world’s most important museums of ancient history and one of its great spectacles. Here, the treasures of Tutankhamen lie alongside, mummies, Jewelry, eating bowls and toys of ancient Egyptians. His s even gilded beds dominate the main hall, while his magnificent death mask is the star attraction.
